Scott Thompson

Scott began his career in 1991 when he was recruited by Metlife as an agent and shortly thereafter obtained his investment registration. During his 17 year career with MetLife his focus was to help his clients with comprehensive insurance and retirement planning. While serving as an agent during these years was also teaching continuing education courses to licensed agents for the State of FL.

In 2008, Scott relocated to the Pittsburgh area and joined the Dinnin & Parkins team to provide professional investment advice to our clients. His introduction of Medicare planning and knowledge of retirement planning has greatly helped round out our client's portfolios. In 2015 he obtained lifetime membership in the Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT), which is a professional organization comprised of the top 10% of financial advisors around the world. This being his 14th year qualifying he still is actively promoting their values to all his clients. Over the last several years he has been invited around the world as a motivational speaker to share his powerful message with others.

Scott has been happily married to his wife, Dottie since 1982. He is also extremely proud of his daughter, Alexis and continues to work hard with their support.
